Dove: Hands

I got onboard the Dove and the Campaign for Real Beauty campaign at the height of its popularity. Real Images of women on billboards throughout the city were the talk of advertisers and beyond. It was a risky departure from the flawless photoshopped complexions and bodies we had grown accustomed to seeing in popular media.

Dove wanted to distinguish their products from the Campaign for Real Beauty. We did this by creating two distinct, yet complimentary websites.

“For All Your Hands Do” is a campaign I wrote content for with interviews with women from three jobs that required using their hands. Each career corresponded to a specific hand cream that would cleanse and soothe skin of the day’s activities.

The copy for Dove is simple. When writing, I think of a mother of two in Saskatchewan and make the copy accessible and of interest to her.
